Recipe: Dark & Smoky Maple Spice

This delectable fall coffee concoction features flavors that pair perfectly with our Husky Hope dark roast: maple for deep, autumn sweetness, a hint of spice for warmth, and dark cocoa to enhance the coffee’s rich chocolate notes. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (8 oz) DogStar Roasters Husky Hope Dark Roast Coffee
  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup (use pure maple syrup, not pancake syrup)
  • ½ tsp Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 dash Pumpkin Pie Spice (or just cinnamon)
  • Cream or Milk (to taste)

Directions

  • Combine brewed coffee, maple syrup, cocoa powder, and spices
  • Stir thoroughly until the cocoa and spices are fully dissolved into the hot coffee.
  • Top with a splash of cream or milk to your preference. Give it one last quick swirl and enjoy!

Tip: If you want to make it feel more “Halloween,” try rimming your mug with a mix of sugar and cinnamon before pouring in the coffee.
