Maple Pecan Pie Latte Recipe
This recipe makes one 12-16 oz latte.
Ingredients
Coffee: 4 oz of DogStar Roasters’ Shepherd Spirit brewed coffee.
Milk: 1 cup (8 oz) whole milk or milk of your choice.
Sweetener: 1 tablespoon brown sugar (packed).
Maple Sweetness: 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup.
Spice: 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice).
Flavor Boost (The “Pecan” Element): 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Garnish: Whipped cream, a pinch of cinnamon, and a few crushed toasted pecans.
Instructions
Prep the Flavor Base: In your mug, combine the brown sugar, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract.
Brew and Dissolve: Pour the coffee directly into the mug with the flavor base. Stir well until the brown sugar is completely dissolved.
Heat the Milk: Pour your milk into a small saucepan and heat until hot, or microwave for 45-60 seconds.
Froth the Milk (Optional): Froth the hot milk using a steamer or a frother.
